I'm pretty new to this whole college application process and it's kinda overwhelming. I just took my ACT and I'm not sure where or how to access my scores. Could anyone guide me through the process? Thanks in advance!
2 months agoIn order to check your ACT scores, you need to log in to your ACT account. Here's a brief step-by-step guide:
1. Navigate to the ACT's official website.
2. Click on the 'Sign In' button, usually located at the top right corner of the screen.
3. Sign in to your ACT account using the details which you provided when you initially registered for the test.
4. Once you're logged in, there should be a section titled 'Your Test Dates and Scores'.
5. Click on that section, and you should see a list of test dates for which you've registered.
6. Find your most recent test date, and next to it, there should be a link titled 'View Your Scores'.
Your ACT score report should be available typically within 10 days after your test date, but it can take up to eight weeks for scores from the writing section to become available. Please also note that if for some reason you are unable to see your scores, there may be a delay due to test scoring or issues with your registration.
Once your scores are available, they will be automatically sent to the colleges that you designated when you registered for the ACT. Make sure to also check these scores and confirm they have been sent to your preferred colleges. If you need to send your scores to more colleges beyond what you designated initially, there is a feature in your ACT account to do that, although there might be an additional fee. It's essential to ensure your scores reach your colleges before their application deadlines.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
