The Naval Postgraduate School offers a wide variety of first-class graduate degree programs to eligible U.S. military students, international students, Department of Defense (DoD) civilian employees, and a limited number of defense contractors.
All applications are evaluated by NPS Admissions, but the final acceptance decision is determined by the appropriate department faculty. Please review our Prospective Students page for eligibility and general information before applying. Some departments have additional application requirements, which are outlined in the Academic Catalog.
Academic Profile Codes (APCs) for all U.S. Navy officers are calculated and reported by NPS Admissions. In order to have your APC calculated, you must complete an online application and have official transcripts delivered to us. Once calculated, your APC will immediately be displayed on your application under the Employer Information section. Once reported, the APC will be on block 47 of your ODC. Further details can be found under the APC section of the Apply page.
Please visit our FAQs page for more information. If you have additional questions, please contact us at admissions@nps.edu. Do not include PII.
